Bench/Chair Sponsorship and Memorial Dedication

Sponsorship

The addition of benches and chairs are an important amenity within the Town of Huntsville as they provide somewhere to rest and view this beautiful Town.

Furniture sponsorship is only available for existing furniture located on the Main St. and King William Street areas. Each bench or chair can host one personalized plaque for a 10-year term. An additional 10-year term may be available. The plaques are brass, 3”x5” with a maximum of 5 lines of content with 25 characters per line. The plaque will be maintained by the Town and returned to the donor at the expiry of the term, if requested.

Your Sponsorship will include:

A 3” x 5” brass plaque with choice of message
Application to one chair or bench on Main St. or King William
10-year term (additional 10-year term may be available)
Plaque replacement for either vandalism or general defect will be replaced by the Town up to 2 times during the term of the agreement.

Dedication

The memorial dedication can be requested in memory of a loved one, to honor a person, group or special occasion. Memorial locations may include Town parks, parkland and cemeteries. All applications for furniture dedications will be approved by the Town

*Program fees will help Huntsville provide benches and chairs available in our parks, trails and cemeteries.

Your memorial dedication will include:

A 3” x 5” brass plaque with choice of message on your choice of a bench or chair
The option for a new park bench or chair
10-year term (additional 10-year term may be available)
New furniture installation will be purchased and installed by the Town and the Town will be responsible for the maintenance of the furniture.
Plaque replacement for either vandalism or general defect will be replaced by the Town up to 2 times during the term of the agreement.
Donation receipt for income tax purposes.
